The Telluride Plein Air Festival draws artists from around the country to paint "en plein air" (in the outdoors) and exhibit and sell their work.
Their scenes of Telluride and the surrounding areas simultaneously capture the mountain spirit of this special place and celebrate the art of painting in the outdoors.
A three-day Art Exhibition and Sale will be held July 2-4th and will feature the works of flower-filled meadows, majestic mountains, and colorful Telluride scenery. Ben Sollee

Ben Sollee says a cello is not just an instrument; it's a cultural touchstone. Sollee first picked up the cello in the fourth grade, and continued his studies at a high school for performing arts and earned a degree in music from the University of Louisville, where he attended on a full-tuition scholarship. Despite his classical training, he disputed the idea that this type of music was the only way to play the cello, and instead he embraced all genres of music and storytelling in his unique style of playing.
