Car Rentals

The town of Telluride is a quaint, mountain hamlet. Our sister community, Mountain Village was established two decades ago and is situated directly above historic Telluride. A free gondola service connects the towns, making a car virtually unnecessary once you have arrived.  Additionally, Dial-a-Ride, a free service offered to Mountain Village guests, provide rides from the gondola to your vacation rental. However, should you want the convenience of your own transportation or have planned to explore the southwest region, there are car rental companies located at the airports in Montrose, Cortez, Durango and Grand Junction. There is even a car rental company at the Telluride Aiport!
