Climbing Rock (The Adventure Rock)

In the Conference Center Plaza there is a FREE climbing rock. It’s perfect for all ages and skill sets, and no special gear is required.








Downhill Mountain Biking Park

The Mountain Village Bike Park is perfect for intermediate and expert downhill bikers (there are no easy trails to take). Before ripping down the mountain, be sure to sign a waiver which in turn will grant you a free season access pass to the park, which is open until sunset daily.







Disc Golf

1431708277c88c95207An easy walk from the Bear Creek Lodge, this free 18-hole course is open daily during the summer season. Bring your own equipment or visit one of the local retail sports shops in the Mountain Village Center.







Elk Pond

Elk Pond, the only designated fishing pond in Mountain Village, is the perfect spot to spend a summer day. Fish in this catch-and-release pond (no fishing license required!), grab a kayak and glide around the pond, or try the latest Telluride craze, SUP boarding. If you feel like just relaxing, simply lay out your lunch under the roof of the gazebo.







The Telluride Golf Club features an 18-hole par-70, 6,574 yard course with some of the most beautiful views in Colorado. Telluride Golf Club sits as one of the highest in the world at 9,417 ft above sea level, and the design of the course uses the natural terrain formed by glaciers thousands of years ago. Perfect for a day outing with your family!

Water Walkers

Water WalkersGet inside a mobile unit, (much like a hamster ball) and experience the thrilling sensation of walking on water. Appropriate for all ages.


Bungee Trampoline

Bungee JumpLaunch yourself as high as 32 feet into the air while doing tricks and spins on the bungee trampoline. Suitable for all ages and experience levels.

Ice Skating

In the winter, you can participate in one of the oldest winter pastimes – ice skating! The Mountain Village Ice Rink, operated by The Madeline Hotel, is open from Noon – 8PM. Kids 5 and under skate free and rentals available from The Madeline.







Nordic Skiing & Snowshoeing

There are several trails in Mountain Village accommodating skiers, hikers, snowshoes and bikers in the winter.

Movie Under The Stars

On Thursday and Saturday nights in June and July, grab your lawn chairs, (or borrow them from Bear Creek Lodge!) and head over to the Reflection Plaza for a night of movie watching under the stars.

Sunset Concert Series
